What is NHR?

National High Performance Computing (NHR) Alliance

The NHR Alliance (National High Performance Computing Alliance) is a nationwide network that consolidates the HPC resources and expertise of German universities. It provides free access to advanced computing infrastructure, as well as tailored support and training for researchers across a wide range of disciplines. Beyond offering computational resources, the alliance focuses on enhancing the efficiency, usability, and application of scientific computing through ongoing research and development. With a strong emphasis on education, the NHR Alliance also supports the next generation of HPC experts through its dedicated graduate school for national and international young researchers.
