NHR4CES@RWTH Aachen University, NHR@SW and The University of Tokyo are pleased to announce the 1st Workshop on Data Reduction and Energy-Aware Data Movement (DREAM’26), which will be held in conjunction with SCA/HPCAsia 2026 on January 26, 2026 in Osaka, Japan.

DREAM 2026 will bring together researchers and practitioners to tackle the growing challenge of energy-aware data movement and storage. Topics include performance–sustainability trade-offs, measurement and modeling, profiling tools, workload characterization, and optimization techniques.
