Jointly organized with Marta Garcia-Gasulla from Barcelona Supercomputing Centre, NHR@SW (represented by JGU Mainz) is happy to invite paper submissions to the 1st WHPC Session to be held in conjunction with the 30th International European Conference on Parallel and Distributed Computing (Euro-Par 2024) from 26 to 30 August, 2024 in Madrid, Spain. Euro-Par is the prime European conference covering all aspects of parallel and distributed processing, ranging from theory to practice, from small to the largest parallel and distributed systems and infrastructures, from fundamental computational problems to full-fledged applications, from architecture, compiler, language and interface design and implementation, to tools, support infrastructures, and application performance aspects.

New to the Euro-Par technical program, the WHPC Session is dedicated to women who are students or in the early stages of their HPC careers, typically within the first five years after graduation or via a career change to the field of HPC. Papers accepted for the WHPC session will be published in the Euro-Par 2024 companion proceedings. The WHPC session will include technical presentations to promote and showcase their research and is complemented by a keynote speech. Papers can be submitted until May 6, 2024 11:59pm AoE.
